Bridge and fountain walk (6km to do the loop - 2 hours 30)
Blue flag trail
Difference in height: 150 meters
Take this trail if you want to see the village in a nutshell: river, rocks, Genoese bridges, hamlets, hidden paths, restored fountains. You will also see the mill reconstructed by Petra Viva. All of this needs a bit of explanation if you don't want to miss important things.

2] Bridge and fountain walk

Start from the church plaza (parking lot on the left of the entrance). Go past the presbytery and down to the river. Ford the river and turn left on the strada vechja (a road that people used to take to go from the hamlets to the Marina), which runs alongside the river. Reach the first Genoese bridge and its beautiful fountain. Go up towards Ornetu and halfway, turn left. Take the path and stop in front of Funtanella (small fountain). Go to the Oreta hamlet and turn right towards funtana Landi. Follow the same way backwards and go up to Selmacce and then Petrunacce, so that you can see funtana fresca. Go down to the river (U guadubughju) and then to the other side of the hill, which faces the hamlets. Reach then the Petra Viva mulinu vivu mill (Oreta hamlet). Return to the church plaza through the woods and then on the same section of the strada vecchja as at the beginning of the trail.

A booklet (sold for 5 euros, benefits go to Petra Viva) with a detailed and commented presentation of 3 trails will be available from July 1st 2007 - at Janine Rocchietti's (+ 33 4 95 35 23 21). She lives on the other side of the road, close to St Clément church, where the trail starts.

The restoration of the fountains of this walk was possible thanks to the Leader+ programme and the European Union.
