Chiuselinu spring walk

30 minutes

from the San Pancraziu chapel at the top of the old hamlet of Lapedina.

Go to the San Pancraziu chapel at the top of the old hamlet of Lapedina. To get there, take the stairs which lead up from the old hamlet (there is no road up to the chapel). When you are facing the front of the chapel, take the narrow passage which leads up on the right side of the chapel. You will quickly find yourself in a little field - cross it by walking towards the mountain, leaving the valley behind you. It's a steep climb but after about five minutes, you will reach a trail next to a water reservoir. Take the path which leads off to the left at the bottom of the reservoir. The Chiuselinu spring lies fifteen minutes walk away, but it may take longer as the path is often overgrown. Tree trunks blocked the path in two places in June 2000 but the trail is still relatively clear and is indicated by two signs.
