Springs and natural fountains:
a refreshing way to discover Pietracorbara
Despite the legendary dryness of Mediterranean summers and the regular bush-fires that deplete vegetation, the Pietracorbara valley is blessed with an abundance of water, and its springs and natural fountains are one of its least known riches. Take the time to stroll from one fountain or source to another, accompanied by the song of the water on the breeze.

The di u Ponte natural fountain. The Ponticellu fountain lies next to the Genoese bridge. This bridge marks the beginning of the strada vechja or old road which leads to the marina. Together, the two provide a harmonious setting for the river as it gently winds its way along its shady path.
