Oreta in Springtime.

Oreta is the most central hamlet, and not incidentally, the only hamlet which still has a bar, a restaurant, a school and a town hall. The square tower which used to dominate Oreta suprana lies in ruins, overrun by maquis. The hamlet itself is a quaint mix of noble buildings and such simple dwellings as the little house whose wine press has been remodeled and used as a meeting place by Petra Viva, or the former mill near the Puzzadina, a swimming area in the river. Old and new cohabit - generally well - and there are also a number of more recent villas whose presence act as witness to the hamlet's lively ambiance.
