The municipality of Pietracorbara covers 26 square kilometers (2.600 hectares). It consists of 539 permanent inhabitants and the village population triples in summer.

Its annual budget is 750 000 € (for 2008). The municipal council consists of 11 elected members (soon 13 because of demographic increase) M. Jean-Claude Galletti is the Mayor of the municipality and he is supported by three assistants (Misters Paul Franceschi, Jules Dominici, André Zini ).

The town hall is located in the hamlet of Oreta.
It is open to the public from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 until 16h30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
