Below is Petra Viva's plan of
action, ratified by the General Assembly. The program is ambitious
but feasible, and contains both general and specific objectives.
You can help Petra
Viva:
Save
the sites and the environment - the
mountains, the plains and Pietracorbara's marina, and protect
the common interests of the village.
Reopen
the paths between Pietracorbara's
various hamlets, by working with the appropriate organizations
to open and flag the paths between the valley and out towards
western Cap Corse.
Renovate
the rural architectural heritage: bridges, fountains, mills, etc.
Enhance these locations by researching corresponding historical
information.
Organize
theme walks for local youth, Corsican expatriates and tourists.
Organize expositions designed to promote the community and the
wealth of talent of its inhabitants (local arts and crafts, the
terrestrial survey of Pietracorbara, introduction to the Internet,
etc...).
Create
an arboretum displaying the varieties of Mediterranean plant life
to be found in the valley. Develop an associated teaching tool.
Build
a cross country biking trail from
the village to the marina. Construct a health walk in the valley.
Ensure
the reforestation of areas (for example:
the hillside and neighboring locality) badly damaged by fire.
Create
promotional material to promote the
Pietracorbara valley and its association.
Develop
an association of local villages in order to coordinate development
and promotion in the Cap Corse.
